Tyler Sharp is the founder of Modern Huntsman and a world-class storyteller whose work has helped redefine what modern outdoor media can look and feel like. As a documentary photographer, filmmaker, and writer, Tyler has spent years traveling on assignment, sleeping under the stars in some of the most remote corners of the world, and capturing stories that live at the intersection of conservation, culture, and wild places. His creative career has spanned everything from cinematic narrative films and editorial features to television, photo essays, and large-scale brand campaigns for some of the most recognizable names in the outdoor space. With Modern Huntsman, Tyler created a platform that elevates hunting, fishing, and conservation through craft-driven storytelling that is unscripted, honest, and deeply human.

Who is Jesse Griffiths?

Jesse Griffiths is a celebrity chef, author, and respected voice in the world of wild food and conservation. Born and raised in North Texas, Jesse built his life around the outdoors, first through fishing and cooking, and later through hunting, where the connection between harvest and the table became a core part of his identity. His work celebrates the idea that conservation is not a buzzword, it is a responsibility, and that honoring wild resources means wasting nothing. With a style that is grounded, honest, and unmistakably Texas, Jesse brings a rare perspective to modern outdoor culture, where food is not just a meal, but a story, a place, and a set of values.

Chef Jesse Griffiths also recently received a Michelin Green Star for his restaurant Dai Due in Austin, Texas, recognized for its deep commitment to local sourcing, sustainability, and whole animal butchery, with the award celebrating their focus on ethical practices in the inaugural Texas guide. He has also published four celebrated cookbooks, including: Afield: A Chef’s Guide to Preparing and Cooking Wild Game and Fish, The Hog Book: A Chef’s Guide to Hunting.
